Playing Catch-up

As I am getting older, I know 22 is really old, I feel like blogging is the thing to do.  The Lord has really put me in some unique situations and has some great plans for me that I can’t help but share with others!  I am reluctant about blogging because of a few reasons…I am terrible with spelling and grammar, who really cares to read about my life (it’s not all that eventful), and its like I have a ton of time to sit and write, although I do enjoy it!  This is probably the easiest way to keep people updated on my life other than those awkward….”How are you? What are you doing these days?” conversations once a year.  For those of you who are behind I am going to fill ya in on my life over the past few years!  And for those of you who know me super well, I love lists so bear with me….
  1.   I’m a University of Mobile alum with a degree in Psychology.
  2.  I loved the University of Mobile so much that I am now on staff here.
  3. I have 56 children.
  4. All of those children are thanks to my job as a Residence Hall coordinator for the university.  (They call me mawmaw because I coupon and go to bed early...aka 11:30pm.  Hence, the blog address).
  5. Not only do I live in an apt in the Residence hall but I also coordinate Campus Ministries for the university.
  6. The Lord has really awoken in me a love for international missions, whether it is going, planning trips, or joining in prayer for those serving.
  7. I will probably live in a foreign country one day, if the Lord wills of course!
  8. This is my 5th year living in Mobile away from my family, who I rarely get to see and I miss a lot!
  9. The Lord has taught me a lot of lessons my first year in the working world, I am sure you will be updated with more as they come throughout the year!
  10. I am currently taking online classes through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to get my Masters.
Can’t wait to keep you guys updated on what the LORD is doing in my life!  Hold on! It’s sure to be a wild ride :)
